Jamshedpur, August: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jamshedpur Mahanagar has made elaborate preparations for the culmination of the yearlong celebration of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on a memorable note with the twin campaigns, ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh’ and ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ as per the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Among the senior party leaders who will be participating in the twin campaigns and at the grand finale of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on August 15 will be former Jharkhand Chief Minister and BJP national Vice President Raghubar Das and Jamshedpur parliamentarian, Bidyut Baran Mahto.
The twin campaigns will include presentation of tri-coloured pots and national flags to all Mandal Presidents. Soil will be collected from all Mandal command areas in these urns and each will be placed near significant landmarks and at statues of prominent national personalities who participated selflessly in the freedom movement and for the development of the nation.
BJP volunteers will also launch cleanliness drives alongside the cleaning of statues of great personalities as part of the campaign.
On Saturday BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar President Gunjan Yadav, on Saturday, along with the party’s district officials and Mandal Presidents instructed party workers to ensure success of the programmes. Gunjan Yadav appealed to BJP workers and the public to actively participate in the upcoming program on Sunday and be active contributors to the success of the campaign.
