Jamshedpur BJP, BJM workers clash: Non-bailable charges slapped on Sidhgora clash accused

Jamshedpur, March 28: A new twist has come in the incident of fight between BJP and BJM supporters on October 28, 2022 at Sidgoda Town Hall ground in Jamshedpur. In this case, the Jamshedpur police, in its investigation, had removed all non-bailable clauses from 39 accused including BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar President Gunjan Yadav, Surya Mandir Committee President Bhupendra Singh and granted bail to all of them from the police station itself. But the court of First Class Judicial Magistrate Soudamii Singh has rejected police investigation and ordered them to add non-bailable charges against 39 accused persons. Summons have been issued to the accused persons. 

It is noteworthy that on October 28, 2022, a cultural program was organized by the Sun Temple Committee on Chhath festival. During this event, Saryu Rai’s supporters Subodh Srivastava, Ajay Sinha and others had set up a counter to distribute fruits there by putting up tents. During this, Subodh Srivastava, Ajay Sinha and others were attacked, in which both were injured. The injured was admitted to TMH, where he was treated.
