Gamharia, March 28: With the view to provide employment to women, Maa Durgamandal women’s group will soon open an export company in Gamharia industrial area. Apart from providing employment to women, the company will also give them free skill training.
Giving information in this regard, Women Development President Chhanda Vishwas Sen and Secretary Ranjal Devi said that R & C Export Company will be opened near the training turn of industrial area Gamharia. The company will be inaugurated on April 2 by State Tribal Welfare cum Transport Minister Champai Soren. Other dignitaries will include MLAs Savita Mahto, Sameer Mohanty, Dashrath Gagarai, Ramdas Soren and former Jamshedpur MP Suman Mahto. The outfit functionaries said at present, the work of manufacturing children’s uniform for schools and dress for industrial sector employees will be started in the company. “In the first phase, about 50-60 women would be provided employment on the basis of monthly salary in the said company. After that the number of women employees will be increased according to the production capacity,” they said, adding further, “About 700 women are associated with the women’s group and they provide financial support to their families by doing their work even during the Corona period.
