Jamshedpur, June 19: The district administration has filed an FIR against a barber and the man who got his beard shaved from him. The administration took action as the person had violated the rules of home quarantine. The barber also shaved the house knowing that the person came from outside. The man returned home from Delhi on June 2 after undergoing treatment for heart disease.
A late-night investigation found the barber also infected with Corona. The administration came to know that the barber had shaved 70 people. The district administration has identified 14 of these people and put them in government quarantine. The search for the remaining people continues. Samples are being taken for corona examination. Meanwhile, the tempo driver who took the person from Delhi to Mercy Hospital in Bardih has also been kept in the government quarantine.
All people who come in contact with the barber are being identified. All will be sampled for corona examination. Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla has appealed to the people of the district to strictly follow the rules of home quarantine. Even a slight negligence can hit many people in corona. He advised people to strictly adhere to physical distance and essentially use masks and sanitizers.
