Jamshedpur, Sep 12: City police have failed to arrest the culprits involved in looting cash from the Bank of India, Dimna Road branch, even after passage of 25 days.
Sources however claimed that cops had got some clues regarding the gang which carried out the crime. Cops made some headway after a bank loot incident in Dhanbad. They plan to take those arrested in this case on remand in connection with the Dimna Road loot incident.
Sources further informed that several police teams were also conducting raids outside the city to arrest the culprits. But so far nothing conclusive has been obtained, they said.
Armed criminals had looted cash and jewelry worth Rs 1.10 crore from the BOI branch. They had taken away cash worth Rs 33 lakh in the incident.
