Jamshedpur, Sep 12: Dhiranjan Kumar took charge as the officer in-charge of Kamalpur police station on Monday. He succeeds Vijay Singh and was earlier posted at Bagbera police station as Sub Inspector (SI). He also worked as trainee SI at Patamada police station.
Soon after taking charge, he said it would be his top priority to control crime in his jurisdiction. Former OC Vijay Singh thanked the police station staff and local people for extending support and cooperation to him during his 35 months tenure.
