Jamshedpur: Audition for films conducted, 12 artistes selected

Jamshedpur: Auditions for actors, singers and dancers were held at Tribal Culture Centre (TCC) on Monday by JJ Production and Tirio Media (P) Ltd between 9 am and 5 pm. Artistes from almost all places of Jharkhand appeared for the auditions in the three categories of film performance. In the first phase, 12 artistes have been selected while the results of the second and third phase would be released soon, the producers stated.

Among those present during the audition was singer Ajit Aman of Jharkhand-Bihar who made his mark with the songs on Ratan Tata and Shahid Vipin Rawat. Aman was a special invitee at the audition.

The selection panel during the audition included Director Jitendra Jyotish, Production Head Sushil Dey, Tirio Company Chairman Surya Singh Hembram, Singers Ajit Aman, Manoj Pandey, Alok Raj, Deepak Lakra, Production Manager Vinod Singh and Casting Director Gursharan Singh. Earlier, before auditions commenced, the premier of Jitendra Jyotish’s film ‘Adi Vidrohi’ was held. The shooting for this film was done during the COVID period.

Surya Singh Hembram, Chairman of Tirio Media, said that the production of three Hindi films will start from next week. Almost all the artists have been selected for these three productions. The films will be shot in various locations in Jharkhand.
