Jamshedpur: In a high-octane address at the Bodhi Temple Ground, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma leveled serious allegations against Health Minister Banna Gupta, accusing him of being involved in the recent JSSC CGL exam paper leak scandal. Sarma, speaking at an election rally as part of his campaign, did not hold back in his criticism of the state government, particularly targeting Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his ministers.

Sarma claimed that the recurring exam paper leaks in Jharkhand had shattered the dreams of the state’s youth, pointing fingers directly at Banna Gupta. “The future of Jharkhand’s youth is being ruined by the collusion of Hemant Soren and Banna Gupta. They are responsible for the leakage of the JSSC CGL exam papers,” Sarma alleged. He promised that if the BJP forms the government, their first action would be to hand over the investigation of the scandal to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), ensuring that those responsible face stringent punishment.

Highlighting the issue, Sarma emphasized, “This government has completely failed to protect the interests of the youth. Instead of ensuring fair exams, they are involved in leaking papers and damaging the future of thousands.”
He went on to accuse the Soren government of allowing illegal Bangladeshi immigrants into the state as part of a vote bank strategy, saying, “Hemant Soren and Banna Gupta’s government is silent while these infiltrators are being settled across Jharkhand for appeasement. When the BJP government is formed on November 23, we will expel all infiltrators under the law.”
Sarma stressed that the demographic changes in Jharkhand were dangerous, accusing the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress of neglecting the state’s indigenous population in favor of a particular community. “Just as we removed Babur from Ayodhya to build the Ram Temple, we will uproot the ‘Baburs’ living inside the country. We will not allow a government of a special community to be formed in Jharkhand. We need a government for Hindus and Adivasis, for the oppressed and backward people.”
