Jamshedpur: ASIs attend special workshop before promotion

Jamshedpur, Nov 18: A special workshop for assistant sub inspectors (ASIs) awaiting promotion as sub inspectors (SIs) was organized at the Police Lines, Golmuri, on Friday. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Kolhan, Ajay Linda, was also present on this occasion. He spoke on the importance of the workshop and asked all participants to learn the nuances of investigation. He said the trainees should ensure discipline, maximum attendance and active participation. He said that all participants would learn a lot from the outdoor and indoor law training.

The DIG said he would personally monitor the training programme and also conduct special class in law in the coming days.

Many senior police officials of the district were present during the workshop. They included ASP Shubhanshu Jain and Probationer IPS Praveen Pushkar among others.
