Jamshedpur, May 4: The residents of Ashiana Brahmanand, Tamolia, staged a one-day demonstration before the office of Ashiana Maintenance Service in support of their various demands on Wednesday. They also held a meeting with the Senior DGM (Maintenance) Shailendra Singh to discuss various maintenance related issues and find their solutions.
The residents mainly demanded regular supply of drinking water, reduction of monthly maintenance charges, resumption of various facilities such as swimming pool, repair of road and lift and renovation of badminton court and garden. They also demanded improvement in security services. They threatened to wage a bigger agitation in case their demands were not fulfilled soon.
The agitators included Anand Srivastava, Sunil Kumar Pandey, Gangadhar Prasad and UK Singh
