Jamshedpur: A delegation of Jamshedpur Kalakar Sangh members staged a demonstration before the Jamshedpur Collectorate on Saturday to protest against the recent incident of gang-rape of five women artists in Khunti.
The outfit members demanded arresting of the culprits and compensation to the victims. Security was also demanded for the artists of the state. A four point petition addressed to Chief Minister Raghubar Das was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Amit Kumar.
Among those present on the occasion included BK Lal, Ramesh Nag, Renu Sharma, Baldev Singh Vicky, Prem Dixit, Vijay Kumar Sharma and Pradip Rajak.
