Gangrape incident brought shame to Jharkhand: Rakesh Sahu

Jamshedpur: State Youth Congress secretary Rakesh Sahu condemned the incident of gangrape of five women in Kochang under Arki police station area of Khunti and demanded arresting of the culprits as early as possible.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, Sahu said the incident was shameful for Jharkhand and its people. He said the law and order machinery had completely collapsed in the state.

Criticizing Chief Minister Raghubar Das for celebrating the completion of four years by the BJP government, Sahu said the case should be handed over to CID to ensure justice to the victims. He said the culprits should not be spared.
