Jamshedpur, Jan 20: An army jawan residing in zone number 6 under Birsanagar police station has died under suspicious circumstances. According to reports the army man committed suicide by jumping into well. The deceased has been identified as Rohit Bahadur (35). After getting information about the incident, the police team reached the hospital and started an investigation into the matter. The dead body has been sent for post-mortem. The police have questioned the family members in connection with the incident.
On getting information about the incident, the family members got Rohit out of the well. After this, he was immediately rushed to Tata Motors Hospital for treatment.
After getting the information, the police also reached the hospital. The family members did not want to get the post-mortem done. As the matter was suspicious, the police completed the paperwork and took the dead body into custody. After that it was sent for post-mortem. The family members are claiming that they have no knowledge about the cause of the incident. Till now the police are not giving any official information in this matter.
