Jamshedpur: Application sought for post matric scholarship scheme

Jamshedpur, February 21:  East Singhbhum district administration has sought application from ST/SC and backward caste students studying in post-matriculation courses for the  financial year 2022-23 as per prescribed criteria .

The application has been sought under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme by the Welfare Department, Jharkhand.

Only those SC/ST and backward caste students whose parents/guardian’s annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh and not receiving scholarship under this scheme will be eligible for this scholarship.

Qualified students have to apply online following all the guidelines and procedures given in the website https://ekalyan.cgg.gov.in and scanned copy of requisite certificates will have to be uploaded.

The certificate required include income certificate, caste certificate, residential certificate, bonafide certificate from the institution, attested copies of marksheet. Scholarship will be transferred online through DBT mode.

Last date for application of candidates is March  17. Date of verification of the application is March 18.

Educational Institutions shall upload their (with full details) certificate of recognition.

Application will be cancelled if inaccuracy / wrong or misleading information is furnished.
