Jamshedpur Apna Ghar Resort sealed for building laws violation

Jamshedpur, March 31: East Singhbhum Zila Parishad sealed Apna Ghar Resort of Smart Housing Buildcon Limited, situated at Rasunchopa, Kowali, on Thursday for alleged non-compliance with Jharkhand Building Byelaws 2016. The sealing was ordered by the Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad cum Deputy Development Commissioner of East Singhbhum.

Sources said the said builder had not submitted the necessary documents to show compliance with the building byelaws. Earlier, notices were issued thrice to Buildcon officials by the Zila Parishad in this regard. But the documents were not submitted as ordered, sources said.

The DDC, taking punitive action, ordered sealing of the resort. The main gate was locked by the Zila Parishad team. Local administration officials were present on this occasion.
