Identify vendor free zones, remove encroachment: DC
Jamshedpur, Feb 25: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vijaya Jadhav Saturday said it was necessary to remove encroachment from various public places across the city to ensure smooth traffic flow. She said the district officials concerned should identify vendor free zones in Sakchi and Bistupur. She also ordered all municipal bodies to remove encroachment in their respective areas. She said the anti-encroachment drive would continue in a phased manner. Adequate number of police personnel and district administration officials would be deputed to remove encroachment, she said.
Encroachment in Jamshedpur various places like Sakchi, Bistupur and Kadma etc horrible. Attitude of public to encroach public service roads, places is worst then leprosy, cancer. Let us come forward to stop encroachment. Appeal to JNAC not to allot parking slots meant for vehicles to vendors to install shops. JNAC should help society and public.
Encroachment in the public places are in full swing due to the callous attitude of the administration.
If we want to live in beautiful city with good amenities, encroachment should be removed. Also a weekly 3 days temporary market should be established in different locations where temporary kiosk or shop owners should be allowed to put up stall and cleaning of that area should be their responsibility. In this way a sustainable development can be carried out
