Jamshedpur, July 1: On the occasion of National Doctors Day, former MP and member of the Congress Party’s Working Committee, Dr. Ajoy Kumar, honored the city’s esteemed senior doctor, Dr. Kripal Singh Sidhu. The ceremony took place at Dr. Sidhu’s residence in Sonari, where Dr. Kumar presented him a shawl in recognition of his dedicated service.
Dr. Ajoy Kumar praised Dr. Sidhu for providing medical care at a significantly low fee, making healthcare accessible in a time when medical expenses were soaring. “In the true sense, he is a godsend for people in today’s times. I feel proud to honor such a personality on World Doctors Day. I pray for his long life,” said Dr. Kumar.
Criticizing the central government, Dr. Kumar remarked that the Modi administration lacked a clear policy on health care. He highlighted the rising costs of life-saving medicines and the increasing burden on common people.
