Jamshedpur, December 30: On the arrival of New Year, special measures are being taken by the East Singhbhum administration regarding sale of illegal liquor, those who create ruckus after drinking alcohol and those who drive vehicles after drinking alcohol.
The district administration is serious about preventing sale of illegal liquor. Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav has directed all Circle Officers and Executive Magistrates to conduct joint raid operations in line hotels and dhabas with the excise department and the police force of the concerned police station. Instructing all the COs, the Deputy Commissioner said that while strengthening their intelligence system, they should conduct continuous investigation campaigns. Since it is the season of New Year celebrations, keep a watch and stop the illegal liquor coming by road or by any means from the neighboring states.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the new year is meant for celebrating happiness and not for making hooliganism by drinking alcohol and creating obstacles in the happiness of others.
