Jamshedpur administration set for fair chowkidar recruitment examination, control room comes up

Jamshedpur: In preparation for the Chowkidar Recruitment written examination scheduled for December 1, 2024, the District Administration, under the directives of District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner  Ananya Mittal, convened a comprehensive briefing session at the Collectorate Auditorium. The session aimed to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination, emphasizing law and order, fairness, and a malpractice-free environment.

Presiding over the briefing, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) for Law and Order,  Aniket Sachan, detailed the measures in place for the examination. Scheduled to take place between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM across 13 examination centers in the district, the administration’s priorities include maintaining peace and ensuring that the process is free from malpractice.

Surveillance and Security: All examination centers will be equipped with CCTV monitoring, and videographers will be deputed to record proceedings. Electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside examination halls, and every candidate will undergo thorough frisking before entry.

Timely Logistics: Officers assigned to examination duties were instructed to report to their designated locations at least two hours before the start of the examination. ADM Sachan emphasized the timely and secure transfer of examination materials from the strong room to the centers.

A dedicated examination control room has been set up to oversee the examination process and address any emergent issues. The contact numbers for the control room are 0657-2440111 and 7004219058.

Superintendent of Police (Rural)  Rishabh Garg addressed the need for vigilance to prevent rumors and misinformation during the examination. Officers on duty were urged to remain alert, respond promptly to any disturbances, and coordinate closely with the control room and senior officials.

City Superintendent of Police  Kumar Shivashish announced that the police force would maintain an active presence around examination centers to ensure peace and order. Additionally, separate deployment of women police personnel at each center has been arranged to handle specific needs and enhance security.

The briefing session witnessed participation from key administrative and law enforcement officials, including District Supply Officer  Salman Zafar Khijri, Land Reforms Deputy Collector  Gautam Kumar, and Establishment Deputy Collector  Mrityunjay Kumar. Their collaborative efforts underline the administration’s commitment to conducting a fair and peaceful examination.

The District Administration has assured candidates and the public that every measure is being taken to ensure the examination’s integrity and a peaceful environment. Candidates are urged to cooperate with the authorities and adhere to the prescribed rules and regulations.
