Jamshedpur, June 4: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) Special Officer Krishna Kumar and Tata Steel UISL Senior GM Captain Dhananjay Mishra visited Bhuiyandih Brahman Tola with teams of engineers and other officials to take stock of various problems pertaining to civic amenities being faced by the local residents. They assured the residents of taking steps to resolve the existing issues as soon as possible.

During the visit, the officials found out water-logging and inappropriate disposal of cow-dung by local cowsheds to be major problems. Due to throwing of cow-dung in the open places had clogged the drains and made the roads narrower, said the officials.

Arrangements would be made to ensure proper drainage in the area, disposal of cow-dung, cleaning of roads and waste disposal, said the officials.

Other problems raised by the locals are related to drinking water. Recently, a meeting was held in Brahman Tola. It was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, sources said.
