Jamshedpur, September 2: East Singhbhum administration reviewed preparation for the proper conduct of Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) Preliminary Competitive Examination 2021 scheduled on September 19.
East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Suraj Kumar held a meeting with the centre superintendents and office bearers in the presence of ADM law and order Nandkishore Lal, district education officer SD Tigga, DPRO Rohit Kumar.
The members present in the meeting were informed that apart from Ranchi, Dhanbad, a maximum number of candidates will appear for the examination in Jamshedpur, so it is necessary that all necessary preparations should be in place in time.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the success of conducting the examination would depend on the alertness of the centre superintendents and announced that 24×7 district-level control room will be functional and in case of any problem for prompt redressal of grievances.
Necessary directions were given to all the centre superintendents to prevent unfair means during exams along with the proper provision of bench-desk, ramp for disabled candidates, thermal screening at the entrance, display chart of seating arrangement and proper facilities of the fan, drinking water, toilet for the candidates.
ADM law and order informed that 43250 candidates will appear in the JPSC Preliminary Examination in a total of 101 examination centres. Carrying of any kind of electronic gadgets like mobile, tablet, Bluetooth, calculator, electronic watch etc into the examination centre will be strictly prohibited.
The Deputy Commissioner asked all the centre superintendents to conduct a meeting with the teachers and study the guidelines thoroughly. The preliminary competitive examination of JPSC will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 2 pm to 4 pm.
