Jamshedpur administration plans to increase COVID beds to 1200

Jamshedpur, April 6: District administration has plans to take number of dedicated beds for corona patients to 1200 by April 30.  Currently Tata Main Hospital has 140 Covid-19 beds ready but with number of cases rising every day the administration needs to have additional beds. The administration plans to have 300 beds at TMH, while at MGM there are 110 beds. The administration plans to have 1200 isolation beds. It is working to convert local health and rural centres into isolation beds.

Tata Steel is stepping-up its efforts to reach out to more people impacted by COVID-19. With the rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in East Singhbhum district in Jharkhand, TMH Jamshedpur is all geared up to enhance its testing facilities.
