Major IAS reshuffle in Jharkhand
Ranchi/Jamshedpur, June 18: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Jharkhand government has transferred and posted 55 IAS officers across the state. Several officers have also been assigned additional responsibilities. The reshuffle includes key changes in districts where Deputy Commissioners were recently removed, such as East Singhbhum, Saraikela-Kharsawan, and Dhanbad, with many officers on the waiting list now being given new postings.
In Jamshedpur, ADM (Law and Order) Aniket Sachan has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) of Dumka. SDO Shatabdi Majumdar has also been appointed as DDC of Bokaro. Dipankar Chaudhary, formerly posted at ITDA Jamshedpur, is now DDC of Simdega, while Ashish Agarwal has been shifted from ITDA Saraikela-Kharsawan to become DDC of Ramgarh. Reena Hansda, earlier Project Director of ITDA Gumla, has been made DDC of Saraikela-Kharsawan.
Among other major appointments, Syed Riyaz Ahmed, Under Secretary in the Higher and Technical Education Department, has been made Deputy Commissioner of Latehar. Ananya Mittal has taken charge as CEO of the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS), Amitabh Kaushal has been appointed Secretary of the Product and Beverage Department, Rajeshwari B becomes Director of Panchayati Raj, Shekhar Jamuwar is now Director of Games and Sports, and Neha Arora has been named Secretary of Health, Education, and Family Welfare.
