Jamshedpur, June 1: The court of ADJ-2 Abhash Verma of Jamshedpur Court, recorded the statement of three accused during hearing in the firing case on Tata Steel urban services employee Bipul Kumar a resident of Sonari on Thursday.
The statements of Mangal Tiwari, Manish Kumar Pandey alias Roshan and Kanhaiya Jha of Kailash Nagar Saharsa Bihar have been recorded under section 313. In the statement, all the three accused have declared themselves innocent.
A total of 14 people have testified in this case. The incident took place on November 23, 2013 at 7.30 pm. On the statement of wife Moushumi, an FIR was lodged against the unknown motorcyclist at Bistupur police station. The wife had told the police that she was a teacher at the Sacred Heart Convent School. The day of the incident was a Saturday, husband Bipul Kumar had returned home from work at two in the afternoon. In the evening both had left the house with the child.
They had left the child for drawing class at Sonari Ashiana. Meanwhile, at 7.40 in the evening, the husband’s call came and said to bring the child home and told that he is in TMH with bullet injuries. She reached TMH and saw husband was writhing in pain and said that a youth riding a motorcycle came near the United Club and started asking the way to go to TMH, in the meanwhile they ran away after firing at them.
The police arrested these three accused in this case and sent them to jail.
