Jamshedpur Abhibhavak Sangh wants vacation extended 

Jamshedpur, June 10 : Keeping in view the scorching heat and its effect on the health of the school children, the Jamshedpur Abhibhavak Sangh has demanded the Deputy Commissioner to extend the summer vacation of the schools by 12 more days. A memorandum in this regard has been submitted to the Deputy Commissioner’s office on behalf of the association.

Presently Jamshedpur city is considered to be the hottest city in Kolhan region. He has said that right now the maximum temperature of the city is staying above 43 degree Celsius. In such a situation, rising temperature has raised concerns about its adverse effects. The Meteorological Department has also advised to get out of unnecessary house to avoid this scorching heat.

It has already been announced to open the schools from June 12 after the summer vacation. In such a situation, if children go to school in this scorching heat, then there will be a possibility of adverse effect on their health. Therefore, keeping in view the increasing heat, the date of opening of schools after summer vacation should be ordered to be extended by 12 more days.
