Jamshedpur: In a significant move to bring government welfare schemes directly to the people, panchayat-level camps were organized today across 16 panchayats and 1 municipal body in 10 blocks of the district. These camps are part of the state government’s ongoing initiative, ‘Aapki Yojna, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’, aimed at ensuring public welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary.
Local MLAs, including Jugaslai MLA Mangal Kalindi and Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar, participated in the camps and distributed assets among beneficiaries. Speaking at the event, MLA Kalindi emphasized the state government’s commitment to reaching underserved populations and ensuring they benefit from various welfare programs. “The goal of these camps is to provide direct assistance to neglected communities, ensuring that everyone who is eligible receives the benefits they deserve,” he said.

The camps offered residents the opportunity to learn about and apply for public welfare schemes such as the Jharkhand Chief Minister Manian Samman Yojana, Abua Awas Yojana, and the Guruji Student Credit Card Yojana. Stalls were set up by different departments to assist people with applications and provide detailed information about the benefits they can access.
Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal stated that the initiative is particularly focused on reaching remote areas. “Our goal is to ensure that no eligible person is left out. We are setting up camps in every panchayat to spread awareness about the state’s welfare schemes and to assist people in availing of these benefits,” she said.
