Jamshedpur: In a proactive move to bring governance closer to the people, camps were organized today in 12 panchayats and 2 municipal bodies across 11 blocks in the district. Esteemed figures such as MLA of Ghatshila, MLA of Potka, MLA of Jugsalai, and MLA of Baharagora actively participated in the Panchayat-level camps, ensuring the distribution of assets among beneficiaries.
The ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ initiative aims to streamline the execution of applications received during the camp. Deputy Commissioner, Manjunath Bhajantri, emphasized the concerted efforts to provide timely benefits from government schemes.
Under this program, camps were conducted in various panchayats and municipal bodies, distributing acceptance letters and assets among beneficiaries of state government welfare schemes. Notable locations included Khakhadipara Panchayat, Sangram and Hensalamda Panchayat, Kalchiti Panchayat, Astakowali, Kokpara Narsinghgarh, Pathri Panchayat, Birdoh, Lakshipur, Bodam Panchayat, Singhpura Panchayat, and Gudabanda.
MLAs actively engaged in the camps, with Sameer Mohanty in Baharagora, Ramdas Soren in Ghatshila, Sanjeev Sardar in Potka, and Mangal Kalindi in Jugsalai. The MLAs highlighted the state government’s commitment to extending the benefits of welfare schemes to all deserving individuals, emphasizing the inclusivity of the initiative.
Assets were distributed among beneficiaries, covering schemes such as Sarvajan Pension, Savitri Bai Phule, Kisan Credit Card Scheme, Aadhar Card, Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana, and more.
District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri outlined the ‘#Government at Your Doorstep’ program, which informs and benefits citizens about schemes through stalls, approving on-the-spot schemes. Various departments set up stalls, covering areas such as Welfare, Education, Supply, Panchayati Raj, Social Security Pension, MNREGA, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Revenue, Energy, and Health.
The program encompassed a range of schemes, including Abua Awas Yojana, Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme, Birsa Irrigation Well, Forest Rights Patta, bicycle distribution, execution of land-related deeds, Ayushman Card distribution, Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme, Chief Minister Employment Srijan Yojana, Mukhyamantri Pashuvan Yojana, Sarvajan Pension Yojana, KCC, and blanket distribution.
Moreover, the initiative took a step towards environmental protection by distributing fruit trees among beneficiaries, promoting awareness and active participation in environmental conservation. Applications and complaints received during the program are systematically uploaded on the portal, ensuring efficient monitoring and timely resolution.
