Jamshedpur: Aapki-Yojana Aapki-Sarkar Aapke-Dwar’: Government schemes reach doorsteps as camps make impact

Jamshedpur: Under Aapki-Yojana Aapki-Garkar Aapke-Dwar’ a pioneering initiative to bring government schemes directly to the people, Panchayat and ward level camps were conducted in 6 Panchayats and 2 municipal bodies across 6 blocks. The programme aims to ensure the effective implementation of welfare schemes and the resolution of citizen issues at the grassroots level.

Deputy Commissioner,  Manjunath Bhajantri, expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing initiative, stating, “The camps are being organized with the aim of solving the problems of the common people and getting the benefits of the schemes by staying in their Panchayat without running around.”

MLAs Jugsalai  Mangal Kalindi, Potka  Sanjeev Sardar, and Baharagora  Sameer Mohanty actively participated in the Panchayat level camps, distributing assets among beneficiaries and encouraging villagers to avail themselves of the various public welfare schemes.

The camp, which runs from November 24th to December 26th, witnessed enthusiasm among villagers as they connected with government schemes such as the distribution of dhoti/saree/lungi, blankets, bicycles, green ration cards, and Ayushman cards. Notably, fruit trees were also distributed for environmental protection.

The camps played a crucial role in bridging the gap between eligible beneficiaries and government schemes. Bhajantri explained that the initiative aims to address the specific needs of the people, providing information and assistance regarding schemes such as Abua Awas Yojana.

Various government departments set up stalls at the camps, taking applications and providing information related to welfare, education, agriculture, healthcare, and more. Efforts are made to resolve banking issues, correct Aadhaar card errors, and address revenue-related matters.

The camp, overseen by senior officials in each block, ensures continuous supervision to facilitate seamless communication between the government and the people. As the initiative progresses, the district administration remains committed to connecting all eligible beneficiaries to government schemes and resolving issues faced by citizens, making governance more accessible and responsive.

Bank related problems are also being resolved through the camp. Also, applications are being taken for correction and correction of errors in Aadhaar card. In the revenue related stall, applications for problems like tax-receipt, filing-rejecting, land measurement etc. were taken. Caste, residential etc. certificates are also being made. According to the instructions of Deputy Commissioner, senior in-charges of all the blocks are present in all the Panchayat level camps and continuous supervision is being done to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the villagers easily.
