Jamshedpur A Division T-20 League: Supriyo’s century powers Young Boys to 31-run win

Jamshedpur: Young Boys Cricket Club defeated Modern Cricket Club by 31 runs in a JSCA Jamshedpur A Division T-20 League 2025-26 match played at Keenan Stadium on Wednesday. After winning the toss, Modern Cricket Club elected to bowl first.

Batting first, Young Boys Cricket Club posted a competitive total of 175 for 9 in 20 overs. Supriyo Chakraborty played a sensational innings, smashing 118 runs off just 63 balls with the help of seven fours and 10 sixes. His brilliant century laid the foundation for the team’s strong total. For Modern Cricket Club, the bowlers struggled to contain the flow of runs as Supriyo dominated the innings.

In reply, Modern Cricket Club managed to score 144 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs and fell short by 31 runs. Shubham Verma scored 37 runs off 23 balls, while Gaurav Kumar contributed 30 runs from 18 deliveries. However, the team failed to build a strong partnership during the chase.

Young Boys Cricket Club bowlers delivered an impressive performance. Vijay Shankar Mishra claimed four wickets for just 12 runs in four overs, while Abrar Hasan picked up three wickets for 16 runs.

Supriyo Chakraborty was declared Man of the Match for his outstanding century. The match was officiated by umpires Sanjay Kumar Mishra and Ambuj Kumar, while A.M.H served as scorer.
