Adityapur youth safe in Romania, SP and ADC meet family

Seraikela, March 2: Seven students of Seraikela-Kharsawan are stuck in Ukraine. They all are however reported to be safe, sources said.
One of the students, Ashutosh Bera, a resident of Sahara City at Adityapur, has come out of the war zone in Ukraine and reached Romania. He is safe now, divulged his Baidyanath Bera on Wednesday.
Ashutosh is currently studying medicine in Ukraine and is in the fourth year of his studies. He had come home last year and returned after a few weeks.
Seraikela-Kharsawan SP, Anand Prakash, paid a visit to the Beras today to inquire about Ashutosh. He was informed that Ashutosh had spoken to his family this morning and was alright. Bera senior said he had appealed to the Government of India to ensure the safe return of his son and the other students stuck in Ukraine due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
The SP said the government and the district administration were putting in sincere efforts to ensure safe return of all Indians from Ukraine. He assured the Beras of all possible help and said that assistance was available to all students of the district currently in Ukraine.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Subodh Kumar also visited the Beras to assure them of every possible assistance. He spoke to Ashutosh’s father and said the administration stood in solidarity with all local students and their families.
Gamharia BDO Maruti Minz, CO Manoj Kumar and SHOs of Adityapur and Gamharia police stations also visited Ashutosh’s house today.
