Jamshedpur: In a step towards promoting self-employment and strengthening traditional livelihoods, 50 electric wheels were distributed at 90 percent subsidized rates at the Weavers Training-cum-Production Center, Pudihasa, under Jamshedpur Sadar block. The initiative was carried out by the Industries Department under the aegis of the Jharkhand Mati Kala Board and the Chief Minister Small and Cottage Enterprises Development Board.
The distribution was held in the presence of the General Manager, District Industries Center Chaibasa, and the Block Development Officer, Jamshedpur. Beneficiaries expressed happiness on receiving the electric wheels, saying the support would help them enhance productivity, increase income, and boost self-reliance.
Local Mukhiya, District Entrepreneur Coordinator, Block Coordinator of the Chief Minister’s Board, villagers, and other stakeholders were also present on the occasion, which was marked by enthusiasm and optimism for the future of local artisans.
