Jamshedpur: 3 nabbed for extortion and murder attempt

Jamshedpur, April 22: RIT police have arrested three accused of demanding extortion and threatening to murder and sent them to jail.

RIT station in-charge Sagarlal Mahtha said that Yuvraj Singh (20 years), son of Anjani Singh, resident of Road No. 19, Kulaptanga, was seriously injured in an attack with the intention of killing him for not paying extortion money.

 After this, on March 6, an FIR was lodged in the police station under section 323/341/385/307/506/34 of IPC. On Saturday, the three accused Ashish Das (24 years), Sameer Pinguwa (26 years) and Kallu alias Turi Karva (19 years) were arrested and sent to jail.
