Jamshedpur, March 22. Police has disclosed the case of theft at the house of Saurabh Chawla, resident of Signature Apartment located in CH area under Bistupur police station.
Police have arrested the accused Raju Sahu alias Jhagru, resident of Bistupur Chuna Bazar, in this case.
Police have recovered two stolen mobile phones and a tab at the behest of Jhagroo. The market value of the stolen goods has been said to be Rs 3 lakh.
Giving information, DSP CCR Anjani Tiwari said that there was theft at Saurabh Chawla’s house on Thursday and a complaint was lodged at the police station. Taking immediate action after the complaint, the police identified the thief through CCTV footage and arrested Raju.
DSP said that the stolen goods were recovered on the behest of Raju. Three people including Raju were involved during the incident. Everyone entered the house through the window, stole something and ran away. Everyone was trying to sell the mobile, meanwhile the police caught Raju. Raids are underway to arrest two other accused.
