Jamshedpur, June 9: The police have arrested the culprit who snatched Tanushree Aditya’s mangalsutra near Road No. 15 Red Rose School of Mango police station area.
Apart from this, Naval Kumar Soni, owner of Ayushi Jewellers, resident of Sonar Kapali Old Purulia Road, who bought the stolen jewellery, has also been arrested.
The arrested criminal is Mohammad Aman Arman, a resident of Mango Gulab Bagh. A mobile, a motorcycle, a white colored gamchi, a white shirt, a snatched mangalsutra and a gold chain snatched at Bistupur have also been recovered from him.
It is said that he had snatched from the said woman on 3rd June. He himself had carried out the snatching in Bistupur on 3rd June itself. On his tip, the police raided the shop of Naval Kumar Soni, owner of Ayushi Jewellers, Old Purulia Road, Kapali, from where he was arrested.
Cases of looting have already been filed against the arrested criminal in Bishtupur, Ulidih, Chaibasa and Golmuri police stations.
