1200 children participate in Drawing Competition

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Foundation organized a Mega Drawing Competition to engage and provide a platform to the children of Jamshedpur. This recurring event received an immense response and more than 1200 children got registered and participated in this competition across various locations of Jamshedpur. The participants showcased their talents in four distinct categories by painting their idea on topics such as ICC World Cup, My Earth Green Earth and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahaotsav.

The objective of the competition was to enhance the inner talents of these children in the fields of art. The registration was felicitated through the 12 Community Centre’s that are working under the banner of TSF.

The event was graced by Indrajit Paul, Chief Pellet Plant, Tata Steel as the Chief Guest and Abha Vishwakarma, Principal, Kerala Public School, Mango as Guest of honor.  They congratulated all the winners and praised the entire team of TSF for organizing such an inordinate competition and giving such a commendable platform to the children of the city.

Manju Mishra, Sr. Manager, TSF & Keshav Kumar Ranjan, Sr. Area Manager, TSF along with their entire team of Area Officers, Suman Mitra, Asha Pandey and centre staffs strived hard for the success of this event.

The judgement panel included the renowned faculty from the field of arts & drawing of Jamshedpur.

The winners in various categories were:

Group A: 1st  Ayansh Kumar ( TSF Office), 2nd Saumyi Das Sgara (Kitadih)    and 3rd Aashi Singh Modak (Kitadih)

In Group B: First prize was bagged by Ayush Haldar (Kitadih) followed by Anushree Sasmal (Bhalubasa) and Sristi Das (Sitaramdera).

Group C: 1st P Soumya (Baridih), 2nd Vaibhavi (Kitadih)  and 3rd Nilsa Panda (Namda).

In Group D: 1st  Azeen Afshan (Namda) , 2nd  Deb Kumar Mahato( Namda) and 3rd Rishika Mahato (Baridih).
