Jamshedpur, May 28: Parsudih police registered a case against 12 persons for allegedly disrupting smooth conduct of Panchayat polls at polling booth numbers 163, 164, 167 and 168. The FIR was lodged on the information of Sankhu Soren, sources said.
Sources said the case was registered against David Masi of Karandih and Bablu Singh of Golpahari, Parsudih, beside 10 other unidentified persons. The accused persons had parked an auto-rickshaw just before a polling booth around 12.30 pm on 27th May last. This caused much inconvenience to voters coming to the polling booth to cast votes and also resulted in a chaotic situation with people jostling each other to make their way through the narrow passage, sources said.
