Jamshedpur, Aug 6: The third CISCE Regional Boxing Championship cum Selection Trial was organized at KPS Mango on Sunday, witnessing enthusiastic participation from 110 boxers (boys and girls) representing 13 schools. The selection trial aimed to form the Jharkhand-Bihar regional boxing team, which will compete in the upcoming National Championship.
The event’s inauguration was graced by the presence of esteemed personalities, including National level boxing coach Ajit Singh and Gurpado Gorai, secretary of the East Singhbhum District Boxing Association.
Principal Rupa Ghosh delivered a warm welcome speech, setting the stage for the exciting competition ahead. The Vice Principal, Raj Shekharan, and sports teacher Kundan Kumar Chandra were also present to support and encourage the young boxers.
The boxers from the host school, KPS Mango, displayed remarkable talent and skill during the competition, further elevating the level of excitement and competition.
