Jamshedpur: 1 nabbed for extortion from trader 

Jamshedpur, July 7: Jamshedpur police and arrested a youth named Bittu, who was threatening people and extorting money in the name of jailed criminal Sonu Singh from Kolkata.

It is said that Sonu Singh was threatening many businessmen of Jamshedpur over the phone. He is the main accused in the murder case of businessman Upendra Singh in Jamshedpur court, who is currently lodged in jail.

On the other hand, the police are conducting raids to nab the infamous Harish Singh involved in several criminal incidents including the Upendra Singh murder case.

 Meanwhile, the Birsanagar police has arrested a person demanding money in the name of senior officers of Jamshedpur police. It is said that Jamshedpur’s SSP Prabhat Kumar had received a complaint that someone was extorting money in the name of policemen. After this the police formed a team and nabbed him. The police is engaged in investigating the matter. Police will soon reveal about this matter.
