Jaherthan boundary wall project underway

Jamshedpur: Potka MLA Menka Sardar laid the foundation stone of a Jaharthan�s boundary wall in Dhirol village of Potka on Sunday. She said the boundary wall will be constructed at an expense of Rs 24 lakh.

Sardar said the state government was renovating tribal places of worship and doing every bit to protect heritage sites.

Also present on the occasion, Mangal Majhi, president of World Sarna Organization, said local villagers had been demanding a boundary wall around the Jaherthan for the last 30 years. After 40 applications, the project was started, he said.
