Jamshedpur: Jagdish Mishra was elected district president of People�s Union for Civil Liberty (PUCL), East Singhbhum unit, on Sunday. The election took place under the supervision of state level observers of the organization. SR Nag was elected principal secretary while Nawab Ali, Alok Kumar, MA Makki and CS Bhattacharya were elected vice presidents. The election was conducted by Nishant Akhilesh, a senior PUCL member. Others elected on the occasion included Balram Prasad, Sanjay Bose, Rahat Hussain, Ankit Kumar, Sunil Vimal and Pratap Banerjee.
