Jamshedpur, July 13: In an attempt to promote Ravindra Sangeet in Bhojpuri, Rajendra Shah Raj, having learnt the bard’s songs from exponents, has launched an album.�

Despite that his mother tongue is Bhojpuri he took lessons on Rabindra Sangeet from Samar Sinha Jana, the adherent of Guru Shantidev Ghosh and Konika Bandyopadhyay from Bangiya Music Council, Calcutta University.

Resident of Parsudih Cinema Road, Rajendra Shah Raj released the Bhojpuri music album on Sunday during the Bhojpuri Vikash Manch�s International Bhojpuri Mahotsav.

Titled �Jagat Beetal Raina Ari� the album consist of 11 songs and has been prepared in Bhojpuri.

The program held at Michael John Auditorium saw presence of Jamshedpur MLA and Jharkhand Minister Saryu Rai along with Bharat Sharma, famous singer Devi, Bishnu Ojha, Kunal, including Golu Raja Bhojpuri Shashidhar Singh and others.

At the event Saryu Rai said that Bhojpuri songs like these is not the spice of snapping out, but those who pay respect to mother tongue Bhojpuri undoubtedly look good.

Rajendra Shah Raj said �Soulful melody can be remembered. Famous Bhojpuri singer said that tag of vulgarity should be removed from Bhojpuri films. He said that though the Bhojpuri industry has loads of talents but the vulgarity tag demeans the language�.

The release of this album �Jagat Beetal Raina Ari� is a strong slap on the face of vulgarity and obscenity in Bhojpuri.

To keep Dignity, reputation of the language people of the society should encourage good singers and musicians and boycott those involved in vulgarity and obscenity so that dignity of the language should be maintained, he added.
