Jamshedpur: Jadugoda Central School teacher dies of dengue

Jadugoda UCIL Central School teacher Kakoli Pal breathed her last while under treatment at Medica Hospital in Kolkata. The Malaria Department taking the cause of Pal�s death seriously will launch a detailed investigation. Officials will visit the Pals� residence at New Ulidih in Mango and meet the deceased�s family members to enquire about her death. The team will also visit Medica Hospital in Kolkata where Kakoli Pal died during treatment. This was stated by District Malaria Department Officer Arvind Kumar Lal.
Kakoli Pal was admitted to Tata Motors Hospital on October 15 last. With deterioration in her condition she was shifted to Medica Hospital in Kolkata. Talk of her suffering a brain hemorrhage came to light. She died within 24 hours of being admitted to Medica Hospital.
Kakoli Pal had joined the UCIL Central School in Jadugoda as a teacher in 1984. She became a favourite among, faculty, staff and students in a very short span of her career. The news of her death spread a pall of gloom in the school. A condolence assembly was held in the school premises where Principal AK Shadangi, faculty, staff and students paid silent tributes to their favourite school teacher Kakoli Pal. Many were seen weeping during the condolence meeting.
