Ranchi, March 13 : The matriculation and intermediate examination organized by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will start from Tuesday.
Administration has completed all the preparations. In all 7.68 lakh candidates will take part in the examination to be held this year. In which 4.34 lakh students of matriculation and 3.34 lakh students of Inter will participate. The matriculation exams will be held in the first shift from 9:45 am to 1:05 am, while the intermediate exams will be held in the second shift from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. The matriculation exam will end on April 3, while the inter exam will end on April 5.
The matriculation and inter exams to be held this year have been divided into two parts. Under this, objective (multiple choice questions) and subjective questions will be asked from the students in term-1 and term-2 pattern respectively. Time has also been allotted for this. Matric students will be given time from 09:45 to 11:20 am and Inter students from 02 to 03:35 pm to solve multiple choice questions on OMR sheet and Matric students will be given time to solve subjective questions from 11:25 am to 01:05 am and Inter students from 3:40 pm to 5:20 pm. Students of both the categories will get an additional 15 minutes to read the questions. Three types of questions will be asked in the subjective part – very short answer type questions, short answer type questions and long answer type questions. While writing their answers, students have to pay attention to their word limit.
