J.H. Tarapore organizes Recognition Day

Jamshedpur, April 18: J.H. Tarapore School organized Recognition Day of the primary department at the school premises on Saturday, April 18 were students were felicitated.

At the event girl students of class 1 to 5 were awarded for their outstanding performance in the academic and other extracurricular activities. Devyani Singh was awarded as the Primary All Rounder while Aksha Syed Khan won the award for its contribution towards social work.

As this year is being observed as the International year of Lights and Soils, the students presented a wonderful dance based on the theme. Special awards were also given away in Yoga- Anushka Ghosh of class 1, Ridhi class 2, Parmita Das class3, Ariba class 4 and Disha class 5. Winners in Dance- Kanisha Shukla of class 1, Trisha Singh class 2, Satakshi class 3, Aayushi Abhishek class 4 and Vaniya Jaasmin of class 5.

Aaheli Das and Mousami Sen were awarded for Cyber Olympiad while Srijani Singh was felicitated for Science Olympiad.
During the event a presentation highlighted the achievements of the school in the past year. The prize winners were applauded as they received their awards.

Every year spoken English classes are conducted for the mothers of the school and they were awarded with a certificate.

This year the proceeds for the Children�s Day Mela was handed over to four organizations including Smiloe Foundation, CHIC (centre for Hearing Impaired Children), Sister of Charity and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya – Patamda. The people who donated blood during the camp were also felicitated.
