Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur hosted district ISO and Intercity meet ‘Nav Vihan’ at a city hotel on Sunday. Inner Wheel district chairman Gayatri Aryani along with some of the prominent people from Jharkhand and Bihar participated. ISO and Intercity meet is held once in a year where ISO representing clubs from Bihar and Jharkhand along with the members meet and discuss various social development works done and plans for the future. The meet was jointly inaugurated by Inner Wheel district chairman Gayatri Aryani from Chapra and Dr. Rita Jha from Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur.
Guest of honour for the occasion was social worker Anamika Majumdar.
Two competitions were also held during the meet. First was for all the ISO which was divided into two categories-making eco friendly mobile covers and theatrical presentation on any exemplary personality based on women empowerment. Intercity competition on traditional folk songs was also held. The winners were felicitated by the guests.
District chairman Gayatri Aryani handed over a memento to Anamika Majumdar. Later, DLCC Aruna Taneja honoured district chairman Gayatri Aryani.
The event ended with the concluding remarks of President of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Shweta Chand.
President of ‘Nav Vihan’ Anita Rai, DISO of Inner Wheel Club Dr. Rita Jha and President of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Shweta Chand helped in making the event successful.
