Jamshedpur, July 4: As part of National Tree Plantation Week (July 1–7), the Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East undertook a tree plantation drive to promote environmental balance and sustainability. Club members planted 25 fruit and flowering saplings in the premises of the Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, in the presence of Swami Amritrupanand, Swami Mahaveeranand, and Pramukh Maharaj of the Ramakrishna Mission. The location was specially chosen for its consistent care of previously planted trees. The event was coordinated by Club President Dr. Meena Mukherjee, with Secretary Anjubala and several members in attendance.
On the same day, the club also celebrated CA Day by felicitating two eminent Chartered Accountants of the city—M.K. Jha and Ajay Kumar—both spouses of club members. Additionally, renowned personality Dr. Neelam of Kilab was also honored for her contributions in her field.
