Jamshedpur, May 7 : Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur encouraged creativity and culinary skills amongst ladies of Jamshedpur by joining hands with �La Gravitea� cafe , which is doing a great job in the fields of empowerment of hearing and speech impaired ladies as well as promoting local skills and culture , “Mango with Tango”.
IWC Jamshedpur President Alokananda Bakshi welcomed everyone and talked about idea behind organising this kind of event. She suggested that we must encourage everyone to consume seasonal fruits locally available and provided by nature to maintain healthy life.
Ladies participated in various competitions- like mango smoothie making , any dish prepared with Mango, tagline on Mango , theme based attire, fun games with cloth clips , solve the maze , Identify the fruit by seeing the leaves etc.
The judges for the occasion were Dr Neha Tiwari, HOD, Mass Communication, Karim City College and Varun Gazdar, proprietor of Cafe Regal. Live music was there to make the hot morning cheerful.
Winners were given cash prizes/ aprons with mango stickers and Alphanso mangoes. Participation certificates were also given to all. Everyone enjoyed the fun filled atmosphere.
Alokananda Bakshi further said that the thought and efforts put by entire team of La Gravitea and programme like this will inspire more people to contribute towards welfare of the society while nurturing one�s own passion.
