IWC holds de-addiction, HIV awareness session at NHES

Jamshedpur, Dec. 13: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur organized an informative session and awareness talk on de-addiction and HIV infection at Narbharam Hansraj English School (NHES) on Thursday.

Former club president Nalini Ramamurthy spoke as how in the present day children are becoming addicted to drugs at a very early age.

She also talked about how HIV infection actually spreads through the spread of body fluids from the infected person, when an infected female gets impregnated the child inside her womb also gets affected and blood drawn from the infected person and transfused into a healthy person.

About two hundred students and girls were present in this awareness session.
Members of the club including President Shweta Chand, Malati Singh, Sarika Singh, Vinita Shah, gave their valuable time to make the program successful.

On this occasion, secretary of the school Varsha Gandhi, school Principal K. N. Singh, Deputy Principal R. N. Sharma, teachers, Narbheram Hansraj Gujarati Middle School, and DN Kamani High School students were present.
