Jamshedpur, Nov 24: Members of International Vaisya Federation (IVF) announced their support to Independent candidate from Jamshedpur East Saryu Roy on Saturday.
The outfit president Sunita Jaisawal made the announcement at Jaisawal Bhavan, Sakchi. Addressing a gathering of community members, she said IVF will support Roy and ensure that he wins the Assembly election from Jamshedpur East.
Roy was invited to the meeting. He was honoured on behalf of the organization. After the programme, Roy went to Sakchi market and interacted with voters. He also went to the Shiv temple in the market and sought blessings of the Almighty.
IVF leader Mohan Lal Agrawal was also present on this occasion.
