Campaign intensifies in Jamshedpur, candidates focus on door-to-door canvassing

Jamshedpur, Nov. 24 : With few days of campaign left for assembly polls, candidates from the Jamshedpur assembly seats, turned the focus of their campaign to street-by-street and door-to-door canvassing. Dipping mercury failed to deter the spirit of candidates as they went on roller coaster ride wooing voters across the constituency. 

Taking the lead BJP candidate Devendra Singh who went to Sonari Gurudwara today interacted with masses in a major way and in the process of mingling with them to know their problems. He is taking leap in interacting with the masses.
“I am really excited to see the overwhelming response. I want to hear issues concerning the people and appraise them about our party’s vision,” noted Singh.

Banna Gupta of Congress has increased his interaction with the voters. Sources informed that now they are now planning to intensify campaign in tribal areas to garner support of voters.
“I personally ensure that I meet people and interact with them to understand their problems. I am receiving overwhelming response. Usually, I visit city outskirts to meet people and at times share light moments with them,” said Gupta. He is working hard to mobilise party workers in his support, regular meetings are also being held.
BJP candidate is also busy chalking out campaign schedule and draws route chart with feedbacks from block level committees and polling booth level agents with help of Google maps.

“Our senior leaders have asked the district committees to organise meetings and chalk out strategies for the success the candidate. We are raising issues for the benefit of common masses and we are confident that people will lend their support. Our candidate is on door to door campaign and personally meting the voters,” said a party leader.
Political temperature is set to rise as senior Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader Babulal Marandi is expected to reach city in a day or two to ensure victory of party’s candidate from Jamshedpur East Abhay Singh.
The coming election has kindled greater enthusiasm among the contestants. All major party leaders are gearing up to campaign here for the respective party candidates.
